Privacy Policy

Overview

Jobs Tracker is a personal productivity tool for tracking and scoring job applications. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and the third parties involved.

Data we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google account profile picture

We also store the job application data you enter (company names, roles, dates, notes, scores, and application status).

How your data is used

• To identify your account and associate data with your session
• To display your profile information within the app
• We never sell your data or share it for advertising purposes

AI features & your API key

AI scoring is optional and runs on a bring-your-own-key basis. If you choose to use it:

• Your provider API key (OpenAI or Anthropic) is encrypted at rest and used only to make requests on your behalf.
• The application content you score is sent to the AI provider you configured, and is subject to that provider's privacy policy.
• You can remove your key and disable AI features at any time.

Data storage

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
